Kontrol Sende Cevabı Gende

Aile sağlığı veya kişisel sağlık öykünüzde BRCA1, BRCA2 veya başka bir kalıtsal mutasyona sahip olabileceğinizi gösteren meme veya yumurtalık kanseri varsa, doktorunuz sizi genetik danışmanlık için sevk edebilir. Genetik danışmanlar size ve ailenize bilgi, kaynak ve destek sağlayarak yardımcı olabilir. Genetik danışman veya diğer sağlık hizmeti sağlayıcısı, ayrıntılı ve tıbbi bir aile sağlığı geçmişi toplayacaktır.11

Genetik danışmanlık aşağıdaki önemli sorulara cevap verebilir:11

  • Aile sağlığı veya kişisel sağlık öykünüz nedeniyle meme kanserine yakalanma riskiniz artıyor mu?
  • BRCA1 ve BRCA2 genleri nelerdir ve kanserle nasıl bir ilişkileri vardır?
  • BRCA1, BRCA2 veya başka bir kalıtsal mutasyona sahip olma olasılığınız nedir?
  • Bir BRCA1, BRCA2 veya başka bir kalıtsal mutasyona sahip olma şansınız nedir?
  • BRCA1, BRCA2 veya başka bir kalıtsal mutasyona sahipseniz, meme kanseri olma ihtimaliniz nedir?
  • Kalıtsal meme kanseri için yapılan genetik testlerin sonuçları aile üyelerinizi nasıl etkileyecek?
  • Ailenizde kalıtsal meme kanseri için genetik test yaptıran ilk kişi kim olmalıdır?
  • Kalıtsal meme kanseri için genetik testler ne kadar doğrudur?
  • Kalıtsal meme kanseri için genetik testlerin olası sonuçları nelerdir ve bunlar ne anlama gelir?
  • BRCA1, BRCA2 veya başka bir kalıtsal mutasyon taşıyıp taşımadığınızı bilmek, kanser riskinizi azaltmanıza nasıl yardımcı olacak?
